What I study and why: I study autonomous embedded systems and artificial intelligence (AI) applications because I am passionate about creating technology that enhances efficiency, safety, and quality of life. My research focuses on developing intelligent systems that can operate independently, making decisions in real time, and adapting to changing environments. This work has the potential to revolutionize fields such as robotics, automotive, and defense by enabling machines to perform complex tasks with minimal human intervention. I am driven by the challenge of pushing the boundaries of what technology can achieve and am excited to contribute to advancements that could significantly impact our society.
This fall, I am teaching: Two sections of ECE 414: Embedded Systems and Laboratory. In this course, students will learn foundational programming skills and explore the design and development of systems that integrate hardware and software components. This course emphasizes hands-on learning, where students work on projects that apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios, preparing them for real-world engineering challenges.
What students can expect from me: Students can expect a dynamic and interactive classroom and laboratory experience where curiosity is encouraged, and critical thinking is nurtured. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. My teaching philosophy is centered on the belief that education should be both challenging and enjoyable, with a strong focus on practical application and teamwork. I am committed to being accessible to my students, providing guidance and mentorship to help them succeed academically and professionally.
Getting to know me: I am a car enthusiast with a deep interest in automotive technology and engineering. I love attending car shows and working on DIY projects that involve modifying and improving vehicles. In my spare time, you might find me driving on scenic routes, exploring the latest developments in automotive technology, or hiking in the trails during the warmer months. I believe that my passion for cars reflects my broader love for engineering and problem-solving, and I enjoy sharing this enthusiasm with my students and colleagues.
